The famous ‘longest sandy beach in the world’ around Cox’s Bazar and the Buddhist heritage make South-Eastern Bangladesh a favorite holiday destination for local and foreign visitors alike.

40. 3N/3D Trip to Cox’s Bazar by Bus

Day 1: Leave Dhaka by overnight public a/c bus to Cox’s Bazar.

Day 2: Early morning upon arrival check-in to hotel and rest. After lunch guided excursion to the "Broken Hills" and waterfalls of Himchori (18 km south from Cox’s Bazar) and Inani beach.

Return to Cox’s Bazar for overnight stay.

Day 3: After breakfast guided excursion to Maheshkali, a inhabited coastal island off the coast of Cox’s Bazar. After the one hour cruise, disembark on the island and visit the ethnic community, a Buddhist temple and the popular Adinath temple.

Return to Cox’s Bazar for overnight stay.

Day 4: Early morning drive to Ramu to visit the Buddhist monastery at Khayang Para. Continue to Ramkot Bonasrom (14 km from Ramu). Visit the Burmese Boro Khayang, also known as Lamapara Buddhist temple. Its main attraction is the largest bronze Buddha statue in Bangladesh

Return by over night bus.

41. 3N/3D Trip to Cox’s Bazar by Air

Day 1: Leave Dhaka by United Airways at morning to Cox’s Bazar.

Day 2: Early morning upon arrival check-in to hotel and rest. After lunch guided excursion to the "Broken Hills" and waterfalls of Himchori (18 km south from Cox’s Bazar) and Inani beach.

Return to Cox’s Bazar for overnight stay.

Day 3: After breakfast guided excursion to Maheshkali, a inhabited coastal island off the coast of Cox’s Bazar. After the one hour cruise, disembark on the island and visit the ethnic community, a Buddhist temple and the popular Adinath temple.

Return to Cox’s Bazar for overnight stay.

Return to Cox’s Bazar for overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning free for leisure activities of your choice. After lunch drive to Teknaf and check-in to Parjatan motel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning guided trek in the Teknaf Game Reserve, where you can see remarkable diversity of scenic and natural beauty, including the well known unbroken sea beach vista and the bat cave at Whykeong. If time permit visit Teknaf beach. Overnight at the Parjatan motel.

Day 5: After breakfast board ferry for 2 hours cruise to St. Martin’s. Around 11 am disembark on the island and check-in to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the island. Overnight on St. Martin’s Island.

Day 6: Morning free for exploration of the coral island, famous for its coconut palms and diverse marine life. After lunch board ferry for returning to Teknaf. Upon arrival in Teknaf board public a/c bus to Dhaka. Overnight bus journey to Dhaka, reaching Dhaka early the next morning.

Day 1 : Leave Dhaka late in the evening by overnight public a/c bus to Cox’s Bazar

Day 5 : After breakfast set out for a guided trek in the Teknaf Game Reserve, renowned for its remarkable diversity of scenic and natural beauty, including the well known unbroken sea beach vista and the bat cave at Whykeong. If time permit visit Teknaf beach.

After an early dinner board public a/c bus to Dhaka. Overnight bus journey to Dhaka, reaching Dhaka early the next morning

44. 4N/3D trip to St. Martin’s Island by bus

Day 1 : Departure at 8.00 pm from Dhaka by overnight public a/c bus to Teknaf.

Day 2 : Upon early morning arrival in Teknaf (8 am) breakfast in local restaurant. After breakfast board ferry for 2 hours cruise to St. Martin’s. Around 11 am disembark on the island and check-in to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the island. Overnight on St. Martin’s Island.

Day 3 : Breakfast at hotel. Depart at 9 am for full-day Excursion to Chhera-Dweep, an extension of the island separated during high tide. The approximately one hour cruise aboard a motorized local boat (trawler) will take you to this secluded point, where you will have lunch. Return to hotel in the late afternoon. Evening at leisure. Overnight on St. Martin’s Island

Day 4 : This morning is free for your personal exploration of the coral island, famous for its coconut palms and diverse marine life. At 2.30 pm, after lunch, board ferry for returning to Teknaf. Upon arrival in Teknaf board public a/c bus to Dhaka. At around 10.30 pm the bus will stop at the Inani Resort for dinner. Overnight bus journey to Dhaka, reaching Dhaka early the next morning.


Kuakata – Visiting the Daughter of the Sea

Kuakata, locally known as Sagar Kannya or Daughter of the Sea is a scenic beauty-spot in southern Bangladesh. The name Kuakata originated from the kua-wells dug on the seashore for collecting drinking water by the early Rakhine settlers of Arakan descent. Kuakata’s unique combination of pristine sandy beaches bordered by the Bay of Bengal, patches of mangrove trees withstanding the perpetual forces of the tides and the ethnic diversity most prominently visible during the annual religious festivals and pilgrimages make this special place worth exploring.

46. 3N/3D Trip to Kuakata by bus

Day 1: Leave Dhaka by non a/c coach from Fakirapool bus stand for the 12 hour overnight journey to Kuakata.

Day 2: Reach Kuakata in the morning. Upon arrival check-in at hotel and freshen up. After a little rest take a local rickshaw van to Misripara, about 45 minute from Kuakata. Visit the 35 ft tall Buddha statue and the Rakhine community in the area.

Return to Kuakata for lunch

The afternoon free at your leisure. You are welcome to enjoy the beach, and definitely shouldn’t miss the famous sunset

Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 3: After breakfast explore interesting spots along the beach, including Crab island (Kakra Dweep) or Lemon Island (Lebu-r-char). Many of these estuarine areas are covered with intriguing mangrove growth, reminding visitors of the nearby Sundarban forest.

This approximately two hour excursion will be organized on locally available motorcycles

Afternoon free at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 4: After breakfast check-out from hotel and board morning bus back to Dhaka. You will reach Dhaka in the late afternoon
