GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
BOOKING & CONFIRMATION: Prior confirmation of booking is always necessary to avail our tours and services. A tour or service may be considered as confirmed only after an advance payment of 50%. The remaining payment has to be made as per the following deposit and payment policy.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT: All deposits and payments will be subject to our cancellation policy. Confirmation of group (minimum 6 PAX) or exclusive bookings must be done at least 30 days before the departure. In case the tour or the service falls in the middle of long holiday (3days or more at a stretch) this confirmation will need to be done at least 40 days prior to departure. In both cases full payment has to be made 19 days prior to departure. For individual bookings 50% advance payment has to be made 15 days prior to departure. Full payment has to be made 3 days before departure. For long holidays advance payment of 50% has to be made at least 19 days before departure. Full payment has to be made 4 days before departure. For Hillside Resort booking one night’s payment has to be made at least 5 days before check in. Full payment has to be made 3 days before check in. In case of long holidays one night’s payment has to be made at least 7 days prior to check in. Full payment has to be made 4 days before check in. For vehicle hire, advance payment of 50% has to be made 5 days prior to departure. Full payment has to be made 48 hours before departure. During long holiday period, 50% advance payment has to be made 7 days prior to departure and full payment at least 72 hours before departure. We accept payments in cash, cheque and cards (Master and Visa only). A surcharge of 2.5% will be applicable on payment by cards. We also accept payment directly to our bank account. A copy of the deposit slip is required as a proof of payment. We also accept cash foreign currencies like US Dollars, GBP and Euros.
TOUR PRICE AND THE SERVICES THEREOF: The quoted tour price shall always include the items mentioned in the respective tour itineraries.
ACCOMMODATION: Accommodation will be provided as per respective itinerary on twin sharing basis. Anyone requiring single room will have to pay single room supplement. The standard of the room will however be in accordance with the itinerary.
RESPONSIBILITY: Our offers are always subject to the availability of different services and necessary permits. Under normal circumstances The Guide Tours Ltd. is responsible for the smooth delivery of the service/s and operation of the tour/s and excursion/s as per commitment. However, we will not be liable for any accident, loss of baggage, sickness or cancellation/ delay/ rescheduling of flights, train, steamer and public coach service by the respective service provider/ operator. We shall, though, extend full cooperation and offer all possible assistance if such situation arises. It may be mentioned here that the guest / client will have to bear all additional costs (if any) involved. In situations like blockades, strikes, political meetings/ gatherings/ processions, road condition, bad weather etc, the company reserves the right to make changes to the final itinerary in order to suit the local condition. Likewise, your accompanying guide will have full authority to make on-the-spot adjustments to the itinerary based on the local circumstances. In such situations the guide’s decision will be considered final.
1. All bookings will be subject to a minimum cancellation charge of Tk. 500/- irrespective of the time of cancellation. 2. Group will consist of minimum 6 (six) participants. All air, bus, train, rocket tickets will be subject to the cancellation policy of the respective service providers. Similarly vehicles hired from other companies will be subject to cancellation policy of the respective transport company. In case of only hotel reservations, the hotels’ cancellation policy may be applicable. |
